UPDATE!

I'll be adding some pictures, and other content soon. I'm also really sorry about all the pop-ups, i don't have any control over them, my hosting provider just sticks them in. If anyone has any suggestions for hosting commpanies please let me know.

Did somebody say busy?

My life is busy. Very busy. Because of my busy life this website has not been a priority for me at all. On top of that, no fans send in their feedback, suggestions, questions, etc. which is really discouraging I wish you guys out there would, because without the fans this website is nothing. Over the next few months hopefully little by little i will completely change this website. But starting at the end of June or so a new version of this website will launch that will be so revolutionary, so new, and so amazing that it will blow the whole Simpsons community away.

WOW!!!!!! An update!!!??!?!?!?!?!
Its been over six months since the last update, but I am still here. I want to sincerely apologize to everyone out there, for the lack of updates. I've been extremely busy with many things in life, and just haven't had the time to think about this website, which used to be, at one time, my daily obsession. 

I still remember the time just a few years ago when we were one of the first Simpson sites out there, and I am very proud of what this site has accomplished over the last several years. The sites popularity took off after it was mentioned on TV. And then several newspapers also published articles on THIS site. There was a point in time when we were getting 60,000 hits a day!

But over time, the amount of resources I could dedicate to this site dwindled away and much of the content, was gotten rid of. I am happy to say, that now, that time is going to go into helping this site become what is once was.

So be HAPPY! I'm back and ready to move on things, and make changes, lets hope that the next few years are as great as the last few.

6-16-00-All Swear words are gone or will be.... soon, as soon as I get some time to get rid of them. Any way's a new article will be up hopefully.... pretty soon. I will also start a personal site soon, just about myself. You will be able to find a link off of this page once its up. Remember to eat your yams.

6-16-00-I've decided to stop. I know some of you weird and unusual people enjoyed the cussing, but its stopped. So starting tomorrow, I will eradicate the site of all swear words. Yes, you heard me, I am censoring the site. If you don't like what I'm doing send me an email, if you do like, then also send me an email. I want feedback, this should be a family site.

I can tell some of you thinking "What happened?!"  Well, I talked to a friend of a friend of friend of a hair dresser of a goat of friend of a friend of a mongoose of a squirrel of a friend. Who convinced me to stop cursing on this site. So I have. If you don't like this, then you can take a piece of celery and stick it up your...... foot!

6-11-00-Where did you go!? Well, I've been really busy, I thought with summer break I would get more time, but that's not been the case. I will be writing articles, but I am extremely busy today, so I can't, I just had time for a quick information update, I did however update the info bar. I will post a new article later today. Just gimmie some time. Remember to visit back later today. I WANT MORE ARTICLE IDEAS! From you, or just write the whole damn thing and send it to me. I really want people's opinions.

5-29-00-I love Simcity. I recently upgraded to SimCity 3000 Unlimited, from the regular Simcity 3000. 100's of new buildings, scenarios, and the best damn disasters you can find! So where am I going with all of this? Well, I've been addicted to this game for the last few day's, so that's why I didn't updated yesterday. 

But, today I wrote a new article, and archived Article #1. I also updated next weeks episode, put up a new "Site in the Spotlight", and updated the news section. I also made a few slight enhancements to the design. I'm still working on that message board, and it should be ready later this week. I also finished coding some more of that news reader feature. I was thinking about writing it JavaScript, but then I decided VBScript would be better, so in order to take advantage of our news reader feature, you MUST use IE.

5-27-00-Just think about it! That's the name of our new section. I will be positioning this site around the new section. A few other sections will also pop-up in the next few days. Just think about it! Will be a daily article showing the some of the stupidity around the Simpson community, and criticism of Simpson sites that I think need to be objectively looked at. 

I know that this section will be controversial, I will be putting a message board so that people can argue over what I write, I would like to see this place be a center where people can come, and discuss things about the Simpson's, and the Simpson community.

What this also means is that, I wont be adding all that multimedia stuff, instead I will have a website that people can actually get some new stuff out of. I will keep the info bar, because this site is always dedicated to information. I want to hear your comments on my first article, I always look at things objectively and if you oppose my views, give me something that will convince me to change my mind. So enjoy, and check out the NEW Virtual Springfield. Oh yeah, BTW, the support section will be updated later today, and there's still a few more things that need to be fixed around.

5-26-00-Yet another update, but this one is a quickie, I will soon be adding a lot of new sections, that were planned for the future version of Virtual Springfield, to this version. Yes, a new design will still come later, but you will get to see all the glorious content before that. I should also be changing the layout of all other pages to match this one. I will also be adding several new features to the Info Bar. Its 5:30am right now, so I'm sleepy. I will get the first part of this done sometime later today or tomorrow.

5-26-00-Hey Everybody this is the second update today! Ok, another new feature has been added to the main page. Now instead of seeing news like it was before, I have switched to a style that seems to be more popular among Simpson sites these day's. Now you will be able to view the new news from several day's past.

I have also updated some more stuff on the info bar, and fixed a few broken links. I will soon be posting up Alpha 1, of the new version of this site. It will be available either later today or tomorrow. 

I am also planning a move for the site, to a new host, so you don't have to view those annoying pop-up banner ads anymore. As for news around the Simpson Community, Evan Denis, of the Homer Files, is planning on leaving the site, to focus more on school, and other things. However he will now contribute to news updates on the Simpsons Top 100.
